Renowned singer Maria is imprisoned by a masked man who injects her with drugs that make her amnesic. One day, police arrive at their doorsteps, but the man manages to avoid suspicion. Maria tricks the man into untying her by pretending to fall conscious and knocks him out when he is not looking. She escapes the house, but the man quickly catches up. She struggles and removes his mask, revealing his identity as her childhood friend, Dee.
