Yua is a high school student who lives in a rural town. She was disgusted with life in a small community in the countryside, where she constantly becomes a target of gossips. Her father is working outside the town and Yua lives with her grandmother, who is in poor health. She dreams to leave the town and move to Tokyo with her friend Mipotsu. One day, she spent a night with Shunsuke whom she knew from her last time in Tokyo. He handed 10,000 yen to Yua before leaving which gave her mixed feelings. A few days later, after meeting Mipotsu she discovered that her grandmother was dead in the house. She blamed herself for her grandmother's death and was furious at her father who was trying to take all the money that her grandmother had left behind. She headed straight to Tokyo, wandering alone in Shinjuku with nowhere to go. Then a man called her...
