On the night of her police university graduation, Hamanaka Natsume’s younger brother dies in an accident she caused. Blaming herself and having lost her eyesight in the accident, she gives up on being a police officer. Three years later, Natsume, still unable to forgive herself for the events of that night, is walking home at night when she hears a car hit something. She rushes to the car and hear's a young girl's voice asking for help. Natsume has a suspicion that the girl might have been a kidnapping victim. She reports what happened to the police who drop the case citing a lack of evidence. Natsume does not give up there and pursues the case herself in hopes of finding the girl.
