A dusty diary forgotten for half a century ties Chen, a Chinese expat in Indonesia, to a local woman named Nova. As a buried love affair from 50 years ago is unveiled, so is that of the increasing intimate young couple. Both relationships cross boundaries of nation, religion and culture. Chen and Nova may look every bit the perfect pair, yet their affair is fraught with obstacles and challenges of all kinds. Will they be able to transcend the differences? Will love win?
