    Yeon Ji is a single mother raising a seven-year-old son on a small island on the south coast. She runs a boutique. One day, Dong Min comes to visit her. Yeon Ji had put him through college. Dong Min then got a job at a large company and married the president's only daughter. Despite seven years of marriage, Dong Min and his wife are childless. Learning that he's not got much time to live, Dong Min drinks quite heavily. He's then come to see Yeon Ji. It pains her but Yeon Ji coldly turns Dong Min away.
