After Mrs. Wang is diagnosed with dementia, her daughter Si Hui takes responsibility for looking after her. But Mrs. Wang has always been critical of everything her daughter does. There was an unforgettable emotional event involving the two of them when Si Hui was young: She was burned when she was little and spent her adolescence wearing compression garments. Mrs. Wang felt guilty about it and took Si Hui to all the major hospitals, hoping to treat the scars on her legs. But the sky-high cost of the operations kept the family from doing the surgery. As a result, Mrs. Wang often blamed herself for not keeping her eye on Si Hui better. Mrs. Wang’s illness worsens, and she often yells at Si Hui for no reason.
