Takuji, a college man married a girl Kyoko who lived by the bill. Soon after their marriage, Takuji was called to military service. Takuji's foot was badly injured and he was sent back home for treatment. He was recovered but the bad news was that he had to return back to war. Based on a novel written by Kamo Shoko.
