In Guang Ming County, there is an unremarkable county magistrate named Dou Bao. He is upright, incorruptible, and loves his people, but he neglects his wife, who is eager to have children. Dou Bao disregards his own safety to save an old man, only to discover that the old man is his father, who insists on staying and constantly disrupts their plans to conceive a child.
