Every year, a young maiden from a small fishing village is sacrificed to the sea god. This year, A Li who was chosen to be the bride of the sea god arrived at the island by boat. On her wedding night, A Li discovered her husband, Sea God Yan, was an orc; a half-human, half-beast. Later, A Li sneaked into a forbidden room and discovered the secret of the bride in the ice coffin. One day at the beach, A Li saved a small injured fish and brought back to the palace, and named it Hai Da Yu. Da Yu transformed into a human and accompanied the lonely and helpless A Li.
