This is a story about different people's goals, dreams and ways to achieve their ambitions. However, different people have different views on life, career, and love. Lok Tien Sung is the illegitimate son of the rich man Ko Hung, while Seung Hei is a normal office lady who happens to move into Tien Sung's house. Lam Oi Mei and Hong Ching are both heads of big offices. Tien Sung and Seung Hei joined the same company later on and became best friends. Amy's parents both passed away when she was younger, so she learned that money is very important and will do anything for the means of money, including trickery and deceit. Hong Ching loves her dearly, but Amy thinks he is too poor for her. Instead, after learning about Tien Sung's wealthy background, Amy uses all sorts of means to make him fall in love with her.
