The genius surgeon Hatomura Shugoro abandoned his future and position as a doctor and protected Kawakami Asuka and Tsugumi, from the plot of great evil. However, a new devil's hand attacks Shugoro, and it is suspected that his wife, Naomi, who thought she died of illness six years ago, was actually killed by someone. Shugoro desperately tries to uncover the truth about her wife's death, but because of that, Tsugumi's life was endangered, so she took Tsugumi from her sickbed Asuka and lives with her. One day when he returned to Tokyo from Sendai in pursuit of the truth about Naomi's death, Shugoro and Tsugumi were involved in the siege incident at Shinohara Tokyo General Hospital, where they visited an acquaintance. Shugoro and Tsugumi, the director of the surgical department, and Kisaragi successfully escaped the criminal's eyes, but Shugoro, who was worried about the patient left behind, went to first aid while risking himself.
