A robbery-murder incident occurred in a luxurious mansion in Tokyo. Yamada, who had a previous criminal record, was arrested after being identified from the security cameras. While Yamada admitted to the robbery, he denied involvement in the murder. He claimed that his accomplice, Ishii, was the one responsible for the murder. Detective of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police's Investigation Division is pursuing Ishii's whereabouts. Based on the information that Ishii occasionally expressed a desire to meet ‟an old woman,‟ he begins a stakeout targeting Ishii's former lover, Sawako, with a deadline of one week.
