‟He's Out There Somewhere‟ is a gay love road movie, which tells about swimmer Mu Ran who lost his memory due to an accident. At the suggestion of his friend Lu Zi, he travels to retrieve the memories that have been lost, while the name ‟Su Chen‟ is lingering in his mind. With his keen sense of smell and guided by the photos on his mobile phone, he slowly recalls the man he once loved deeply, and goes to Su Chen's hometown, in Taiwan.
