A Chiu's family, who grows dragon fruits in the countryside of Kaohsiung, raises a group of chickens and ducks in their fields. Their grandson, A I, loves to play in the fields. As he starts primary school and attends tutoring classes, he learns inappropriate rhymes. When a typhoon hits, their crops are destroyed, bringing no harvest.
