Kiku to Isamu 1959 / キクとイサム 1959 / Chrysanthemum and Isamu ,

Immediately after the Second World War, sister Kiku and brother Isamu, whose mother was a prostitute and the father was a GI, live with their grandmother in the country. Because their color and hair are different from Japanese, they have a hard time, being bullied or treated like unusual creatures. It is notable for being the first film in Japan to show Blasians (persons of mixed African and Asian ancestry), as well as the concept of interracial relationships. (Source: IMBD)
