Min Gyu on leave from the army is too busy perking himself up to spend time with his mother. He borrows his mother’s car to go camping with his friend Dong Wan. They spend a quiet evening deep in the forest. We find it difficult to concentrate on Min Gyu’s journey but feel as if we’re sitting in the back of the car he’s driving. That we’re led to watch him from an observer’s perspective creates faint tension. (Source: JIFF)
