Mae Ya Nang 1999 / แม่ย่านาง 1999 / The Guardian Goddess of Boats

Two twin sisters are the princesses of an ancient kingdom. The older sister sacrifices a lot of citizens and she's very evil with no mercy. The youngest on the other hand is the exact opposite of her. She's very sweet and sympathizes with people. Both sisters fell in love with the prince of another kingdom. However, the prince only fell for the younger sister due to her loving personality. The older sister becomes jealous and held a grudge against her sister. One day during the ceremony, the sorceress had dropped her glass ball which had caused chaos in their land. There were earthquakes and storms and water came onto land. The people had to get on ships, however the ship tipped over which had caused the everyone to fall into the water. The ship goddess statue had fallen on top of the older sister preventing her from reincarnating. This was her karma, she had to be a sea ghost watching over the kingdom's treasure that had fallen into the deep sea. Hundreds of years later, the prince and the younger twin are reborn. Both are like fire and water, always bickering. Throughout the story, he continues to help and protect her from the evil sister's ghost and love begins to blossom, while both try to uncover the past and to unwind the karmas that ties all three of them together.
