A story about a young woman who raises parrots in her apartment and keeps getting phone calls for someone named Johnny. Xi Zi Qi who has been living alone in Taipei is trying to figure out what direction she must take in life. As she aspires for simplicity, she also becomes entangled in a complicated relationship with her boyfriend. Oddly enough, she often gets phone calls from someone looking for Johnny. The phone calls along with her pet parrots become a source of comfort. Li Li who lives downstairs from Xu Zi Qi is the landlady's son. His monotonous existence is disrupted when he discovers that Xu Zi Qi sneaks parrots while taking the subway. Zhang Yi Feng is a foreman who works nearby.
