Around 1930, Japanese colonial rule attempted to take gold bars from Korea back to Japan. After learning this, the patriotic youths, led by Woon Pyung, agreed to take the gold bars and send them to the Shanghai Provisional Government and made a detailed plan. However, due to the betrayal of one of them, Jeom Taek, they fail just before the retreat. After that, Woon Pyung fled to a foreign country and refused to return to Korea. Upon returning to Korea, he found Jeom Taek living with his wife. However, he gives up revenge for the happiness of his beloved wife. However, his wife commits suicide when he finds out that her husband has returned. Finally, he officially asks Jeom Taek for a duel and sends him to hell.
