Pantawan's family runs a dessert place. Her parents separated because of her grandmother. After her mother's death, she refuses to live with her grandmother and has to raise her brother and sister on her own. She also learns traditional dancing. Waitaya came from America. He returns to Thailand on business and stays at his friend's house. Pantawan also knows people that live there. One day when she goes to bring them something, she sees an injured pigeon and starts talking to it. Waitaya sees her and leans back to enjoy the view, but she goes away after noticing him. They later become acquainted and eventually fall in love with each other. But Waitaya has his own family problems to deal with - the woman he believes is his mother kidnapped him when he was young.
