Since her mother is a sorceress, Su Hi's scheduled marriage ends in separation. Her fiance Jung Ho, a med student, is a Catholic and troubled by his mother's objections. Su Hi gets over Jung Ho and meets frequently with Ki Sub. She also models for the artist Lee Yeong Hu, who is the husband of Jung Ho's aunt. One day, Jung Ho stabs Yeong Hu after witnessing him making love to Su Hi. With this, Su Hi suffers a mental breakdown and is admitted to the hospital.
