Misa Murai is a screenwriter working for a production company which is specialized in horror films. She harbors deep resentment toward her colleagues and boss because of the workplace bullying she faces everyday. Her time eventually comes when the whole production team moves to a countryside that has a dark tale of a dead geisha. Misa comes up with a new script from the folktale.
