The story of two students, sent by their professor to search for mysterious fungi and phantom mushroom called ‟Sennen Hanakusa,‟ which is said, causes immortality when consumed. Along the way, a series of bizarre events meet them, and one of the students, Kotaro, for whom science has been the meaning of life so far, for the first time finds beauty in the people around him and falls in love.
