Three co-workers all named Wong share a flat. They prevail upon their female friend Sau Ha to help find them dates. Sau Ha introduces her colleague to telephone operator Hau Ying. The first time Hau plays a Shanghai girl, the second time, a Mandarin speaking girl and, finally, a shy Cantonese speaking girl. When the men finally suspect that they are dating the same girl, Sau Ha tells them the girls are sisters. Still skeptical, they arrange a meeting with all three sisters and Sau Ha at a club.
