The story takes place inside an old English hotel where mysterious guests arrive and strange events begin to occur, disrupting the strict routine of the hotel manager. From his work to his life, Shi Yue enforces his own rules and courses through life as though it were a mathematical problem. Every year is the same with no anomalies in his predisposed logic until an accidental vacation brings the unexpected into his life.
