    Preparation for the Festival 1975 / 祭りの準備 1975 / Matsuri no Junbi

    A semi-autobiographical work by Takehiro Nakajima. The main character, Tateo Oki, holds the brush until late every night, dreaming of going to Tokyo and becoming a scenario writer while working for a credit union in his hometown. However, his toxic environment, in the form of family and loved ones, prevents him from fulfilling his dreams.
