Xu Er Gua, after years, bonds with his former lover, who is now a widow, and looks after her adopted daughter. But happiness doesn't last long, because soon woman dies in a car accident. Xu Er Gua before she died, promised her that he would take care of her teenage daughter. And he keeps his word - so much, that when he is robbed of his beloved's inheritance, he decides to pretend to be a scrap collector to earn money, for his foster daughter's studies.
