Ysabel is a single mother to Maymay and works as a personal assistant to Scarlet, who married Javier for money. Scarlet is unable to conceive a child and she convinces Javier they get a surrogate mother. Scarlet knows Ysabel needs money because Maymay has leukemia and asks her to be heir surrogate.
