Xu Yuan is a lazy but talented expert of antiquities, descendant of the infamous Xu family that betrayed their country during the war by selling the priceless head of a Tang dynasty Buddha statue to the Japanese. When Ms. Kido comes from Japan to China to return the head, she requests that a member of the Xu family assists to the ceremony. Little did Xu Yuan know that, by accepting her invitation, he would have entangled himself with an old conspiracy and one of the biggest mysteries in the world of cultural relics.
