The story revolves around the protagonist, Nga Yi, who used to be a singer-songwriter but has now switched careers to become a music magazine journalist. One day, she hears a strange yet unforgettable melody in her dream. She ponders over it for a long time until she coincidentally encounters Vivian, who is playing the same melody in a music store. It suddenly dawns on her that this melody was composed by Sky, Vivian's deceased ex-boyfriend and a musician whom Nga Yi had known in the music industry years ago.
