A wealthy widower leaves his two sons in the care of his sister-in-law Aunt Bei. She hires a lovely young governess for the 10-year-old son. The governess, Mei Chuan falls in love with the older son. Unfortunately, the parents of two families set up a match between him and the daughter of another wealthy family. He feigns mental illness whenever a woman is around to try and repel the match. It becomes harder to continue the ruse when he falls in love with the beautiful governess. Meanwhile, another secret romance may be set to bloom.
