Sometimes you can figure things out without experience. For instance, it is easy to guess that raising a kid as a career woman is hard. The same goes for an actress. However, this film makes viewers recognize very familiar things with a new perspective. It is perhaps because of plain tone and facial expressions of the main character. When she talks to herself, ‟Soyeon´s doing The Seagull. She looks pretty in the poster.‟ looking at the poster of a play, or she says, ‟Sis, baby is so adorable, but I don´t think I´m happy.‟ to a visitor, the lines are ordinary, but they are deeply impressed on viewers’ mind. She is eager when she performs free acting at an audition. Nina’s line from 「The Seagull」 passes through Jiyeon and becomes a monologue solely for herself. As she sheds tears irrelevant to her will, they run on her yellow shirt. It is as plain as eager and vice versa. (Source: JIFF)
