Korea, still quite an agricultural based nation, houses many poor and desperate people. The Korean War devastated the country and it left many without a future. One day a barmaid, who is looking for some extra money, replies to a sculptor’s request for somebody to act as a nude model. Coincidence seems to strike, though, as he speaks to the barmaid and discovers that she was taken advantage of by another man posing as an artist. Feeling piteous as he looks upon this poor woman, he decides to take a new path in his life; a path that will lead him to a place to which he could never have imagined. (Source: MDL.info)
