The haiku that Detective Kamei made as a hobby won a special prize at the Haiku Festival in the city of Matsuyama. Kamei, who visited Matsuyama to receive the award, also receives a mysterious consultation from a city official saying, ‟There was a phrase in the haiku that was uttered in early spring that made us feel death.‟ All of the complainants are humans in Tokyo and can be read as ‟killing people for revenge in the fall.‟ A suspense that follows the truth of the murder case implied by haiku.
