During the Northern Expedition, the brothers Chen Li Fu and Chen Guo Fu secretly set up a group called the Central Club. In order to grasp information on developments within and outside the Party, the brothers secretly set up a special training course in Zhejiang in early 1927. Young patriots such as Lin Tian Zheng, Xu Song, Shen Wen Jie and Gu Yi Nan were secretly recruited. The gruelling training led to friendship and impressed their instructor, Gao Han, who was a Communist Party member. Under Gao Han's leadership, Lin Tian Zheng and the others take on their first mission since joining the training. Unexpectedly, they are accidentally caught up in a conspiracy. The top commander of the special training class, Qian Xin Zhi, gives Lin Tian Zheng and the others a hunting order. When the April 12 Incident breaks out, Lin Tian Zheng and the others see the hypocrisy of the Kuomintang and take the initiative to help Gao Han rescue the communist trainees held by the Kuomintang and eventually expose Qian Xin Zhi.
