Private detective Tamaya & Tagami meets a wandering foreigner Matthieu, in Kumamoto's earthquake-stricken area. Matthieu has come from France to deliver the remains of his deceased wife to his father-in-law, Yoshiaharu. Despite the language barrier, the two detectives and Matthieu eventually reach Yoshiharu, whose heart is already wounded by the earthquake disaster.
