Tetsuya is an elementary school teacher and his girlfriend is Akemi. Akemi suffers from emotional instability due to a difficult childhood. Tetsuya worries about how to deal with Akemi. Takeru is a student at an elementary school where Tetsuya works. Takeru keeps hurting himself because of his father. Takeru's father is an alcoholic. Takeru’s mother Mayumi suffers from Takeru hurting himself. Akemi’s mother Yoko suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Yoko begins to doubt her husband Sadao’s trust.
