Jin Ho, a Korean college student, marries Sakiko, a daughter of Colonel Hukube of the Japanese army, but Hukube sends Jin Ho to be stationed in the northern Manchuria, getting to know that Jin Ho is a Korean. Jin Ho deserts from barracks to hide in the mountain with Sakiko. When Hukube catches Jin Ho and is about to kill him, Korean Independence Army attacks and frees Jin Ho. Jin Ho and Korean troops plan to use explosives on the cave used to keep opium and succeeds in destroying it, but Sakiko dies in the fight.
