A mysterious organization called An Xiang (or Secret Fragrance) takes in women who have fallen victim to the dangerous society that sees women as lesser than and only seeks to use or harm them for their beauty. Here, they are trained to fight against that fate. One such woman, Mei Gui (or Rose), whose father sold her to get money for his cigarette addiction, is masquerading as a singer in a dance hall as part of her undercover mission from the ‟Secret Fragrance‟. The mission: eradicate the man behind the cigarette sales, Cheng Hao. Will this rose with dual identities and her domineering, rich enemy give in to a blossoming love, or will they plot against each other every step of the way?
