On her first day of college, Lu Mian Mian is bullied for being deaf and using a hearing aid. When the music professor Quin Moan arrives, he accidentally steps on her and crushes her hearing aid. Later on, she is picked by Quin Moan to be his music partner when playing the piano and receives new hearing aids from him as compensation. This triggers a whole new wave of bullying. One day, when Lu Mian Mian runs from her attackers, she is saved by Professor Mo Yu Xian, who is a scientist studying blood. His lab becomes a place for her to hide every now and then. Lu Mian Mian is soon entangled with Quin Moan, whom she falls in love with, and Mo Yu Xian, who seems to take a special interest in her. She also discovers that Quin Moan isn’t just an ordinary man but a member of a special clan. Will they be able to cope with the challenges ahead, or is their love doomed from the start?
