The story takes place in 1969 in Sasabo, Nagasaki, where high school students Ken and Adama hope to challenge traditional beliefs and rules. Ken, in the hope of catching a girl's attention, planned a festival that combined film, theatre, and rock music and developed their project into road-blocking the way to school! This plan, however, caught the attention of television stations and newspapers, and even cops became involved in this teenage adventure. ~~ Adapted from the novel ‟69‟ (シクスティナイン) by Murakami Ryuu (村上龍).
