Byung Tae joins the army after being dumped by Young Ja. With two months until discharge, Young Ja comes to visit him. She sends him a letter saying she'll never forget him and that she was marrying Ju Hyuk, a doctor. After graduation, Young Ja begins to work at the bank and Byung Tae goes back to school. Ju Hyuk and Byung Tae make a bet to win Young-ja. Whoever arrives at the engagement party first, wins. Byung T ae, who'd raced on foot, greets Ju Hyuk who took a car.
