He is in love with the girl working at the bar, but his father is strongly against their relationship. One day, his father goes to the girl and asks her to give him up if she truly loves him. The girl feels that she should do as the father asks for the sake of her beloved man. She refuses to meet him even when he comes to see her. Gazing at his disappointed back, she slowly dies alone with her chronic disease, tuberculosis.
