A wealthy young man, Lu Fei, returns to Shanghai from studying abroad and secretly forms a team to disrupt the smuggling of Chinese artifacts. During one operation, they intercept a golden jade plate from the Japanese, unaware it contains a map to a Ming dynasty treasure. As various factions converge, Lu Fei, Fang Qiu, and Da Pao preemptively venture into the desert to investigate. Following clues from bandits, they find the entrance to the treasure vault and overcome numerous dangers to locate the treasure.
