Shinichi Nakamura (Teppei Koike) is assigned to a small village of Fukui Prefecture as a doctor. He goes to the village with his newlywed wife (Fumino Kimura). Shinichi faces harsh reality of community medicine. He struggles as the only doctor in the village. At first, he thought he was going back to the city in 2 or 3 years, but his views as a doctor changes slowly……..
