When a Taipei CEO freezes to death on one of the hottest days of the year, and a politician's mistress is burnt to death in a room with no trace of fire, FBI agent Kevin Richter, an expert in criminal profiling, is called in to team up with Huang Huo Tu, a local cop who is ostracized by his colleagues after he exposed corruption on the force, to hunt down what may be a serial killer, a ghost, or something else.
