Sang-goo abandons his children to fight for the rights he has been ridden of and Soo-bong, the eldest son, acts as the actual breadwinner of the family with various part time jobs. The boy takes care of the family's daily routine instead of his father who is a story illustrator. He struggles with the daily life that is nothing alike the fairytales he's read but realizes the values of family and the true meaning of happiness.
