In Shanghai of the 1930s, Peng Yu Tian, who was an officer of the National Army, fought hard on the anti-Japanese battlefield. He was seriously injured. He was rescued by Lei Jin Yi, a field nurse. The two fell in love. When the two were about to marry, he received an order to join the battlefield. Soon after, Peng’s family was bombed by the Japanese. Lei Jin Yi escaped to death and gave birth to Peng Yu Tian’s flesh on the way to his escape. Lei Jin Yi had to go to become a dancer in order to raise children and changed her name to Shen Han Bing. Peng Yu Tian learned that his hometown was bombed and thought that Lei Jin Yi had been killed. Misunderstanding that Peng Yu Tian also sacrificed Lei Jin Yi for the child to decide to marry the wealthy businessman Wu Jiang. When Peng Yu Tian was invited to attend the cocktail party held by Wujiang, he met Shen Han Bing as Wu Wu Tai. Peng Yu Tian, who had joined the Communist underground organization, was ordered to secretly investigate Wu Jiang. He asked Lei Jin Yi to help investigate and introduce him to the underground organization. In the end, Wu Jiang’s true identity was exposed – a Japanese spy posing as a Chinese. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Wu Jiang forced Lei Jin Yi to flee with him and was jointly shot by Peng and Lei.
