Jao Sao Salum 2004 / เจ้าสาวสลัม 2004 / The Slum Bride

Kamathep is a rich man who has already been betrayed in love three times. This caused him to become wary and hostile towards women as he thinks they're only after his money. His aunt, who's worried about his well-being, decides to marry him off. She chooses Kaomao as his bride ; Kaomao is one the slum kids that Kamathep's aunt supports. She's kind and beautiful and teaches the kids at her slum, is very devoted to her family, such as her mom and her siblings ; she's also very brave despite her difficult situation (living in great poverty, in a wretched and unsafe place with a dangerous neighbourhood such as scoundrels who noticed her beauty). Af first, Kamathep is very wary of her but she stays despite being scared of him as she wants to help her family and fulfill her duty as a bride ; Kamathep quickly falls very much in love with her. However, some obstacles stand between them : Kamathep's exes come back and torment Kaomao, Kamathep's difficult temper, Kaomao's suitors and more importantly, Kamathep's efforts to win over Kaomao's heart and to make her her willing to be his slum bride.
