    Kokubetsu 2001 / 告別 2001 / Farewell

    Yuichi, is a tired middle-aged salaryman who is not doing well at work and at home. On his way to his home village he encounters a retro telephone booth and he is given a chance to experience what could have happened if he started his life over and returns home after biding farewells and reflecting on his present way of life. ~~ Adapted from the novel by Akagawa Jiro.
